Dr Anum Munir
Computational Biology | Bioinformatics | Cancer Genomics
Dr Anum Munir is a computational biologist and bioinformatics researcher with expertise in cancer genomics, computational biology and biological data analysis. She completed her PhD in Computational Biology at the University of Kent, where her doctoral research investigated acquired drug resistance in cancer. She is currently an Honorary Researcher in Biosciences at the University of Kent. At Biocrest, she contributes to the development and delivery of training in programming, statistics, Applied biosciences, bioinformatics and computational data analysis, helping learners develop practical skills for working with biological and healthcare data.
Mrs Kowsalya Perumal
Biomedical Science | Clinical Diagnostics | Education & Training
Kowsalya V. Perumal is a senior biomedical scientist with experience across higher education, clinical diagnostics, biomedical research and programme development. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of Reading, where her research investigates the endocrine and cellular effects of snake venom using molecular, cellular and transcriptomic approaches. As an HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist, she also brings professional experience from NHS diagnostic laboratories, including transfusion science. At Biocrest, she contributes her expertise in biomedical science, laboratory diagnostics, curriculum development and Biotechnology.
Dr Richa Sharma
Biotechnology | Biomedical Research | Scientific Writing & Education
Dr Richa Sharma is a biotechnology academic and researcher with extensive experience in biochemical and biomedical research, laboratory science and higher education. She brings over 15 years of laboratory research experience and five years of teaching experience, alongside an established record of scientific publications and international conference presentations. Her academic work includes research articles, reviews and book chapters published with leading scientific and academic publishers. At Biocrest, she contributes her expertise in biotechnology, biomedical research, scientific and academic writing, research methodology and professional education and training.
